After several remix projects, Josh Dahlberg, label head for Blank Artists, offers a helping of what he is up to musically with the album, “Ego/Timid”. The album borrows elements of house and electro but still remains predominately techno in composition. The songs collected on "Ego/Timid" turn out thick, confident bass lines and short, funky percussion that is seemingly nervous. This album shows poise and promise from one of the newest installments of the Detroit electronic music community.
