Updates, Updates, Updates

Howdy y’all! Long over due for a news update, so here it goes…Jackson Lee & Ben Jenkins recently released their four-track dub techno bubbler with us. This has moved so quickly, we no longer have copies on hand. The good news is that there are still a few stores with copies, we suggest you spend money with them!

In conjunction with celebrating seven years in operation, we’ve released Money Matters, So This Is Free – a pay-what-you-want downloadable Various Artists’ compilation. Some familiar BA crew with new and extended family in the mix for this; it’s an enjoyable listen.

Side Note: We’re busy getting new music ready, our suggestion would be to sign our mailing list (bottom, right) to get updates directly to your inbox.

Lastly, we’ll drop a little tidbit about our Movement/DEMF plans by asking you all to attend our pre-party, Friday May 25th at Park Bar’s Elizabeth Theater. Easily one of the best downtown venues for local music and beer, we hope you can make it!

BA Preps For The Siege – Transient EP
Monday, August 8th, 2011 @ 2:26PM by admin

Transient

Battling at the artistic front for wave and experimental electronic music, The Siege is building a reputation for emotionally charged soundscapes with their artillery like arpeggiators, distortion, and reverb units. Their new Transient EP makes available two selections from Randall Flurgenbach’s Strange Space Chalet as well as two new tracks, “The Soviet’s Ain’t Got Nobody But You” and “The Spirit Of New York Has Burrowed A Black Hole Through My Soul”. Perfect for moments of haze, clarity, confusion and wisdom, this release reveals us all as a little bit transient. Does this sound otherworldly? It should. The Siege is way the hell out there in all the right ways, and they wave the flag high on their latest effort; Transient.
