Some recordings seem to emulate the period of time and place, which they were created; Josh Dahlberg’s AM Brain EP falls into that category.

As a whole, the EP’s atmosphere is bleak yet beautiful; and would be the ideal soundtrack for a frigid winter’s drive down the dilapidated boulevards and avenues of Detroit. The songs attempt to recreate the winter that was Detroit and to see the ruins through a snowcapped lens.
